Before you open the field

4. Press Redeem / Claim. Wait two seconds. The beta can lag on a full 50-player server.
5. Check cash, backpack, and any buff icon. A silent success still grants the item.

If the HUD is hidden during a fight, holster with the same key you use to swap tools. The controls page lists Left Click, Right Click, Q, E, and Shift. None of those keys submit a code; you must use the UI.

Mobile redemption

Mobile uses on-screen buttons, as the official description states. The Codes button is often behind the hamburger or the shop cluster.

1. Rotate to landscape if the bottom bar covers the field.
2. Tap the Codes control, then tap the text box so the keyboard opens.
3. Paste. Android and iOS keyboards love to insert a trailing space or capitalize the first letter. Delete both.
4. Tap Redeem. If the keyboard covers the button, hide it first.
5. Confirm the reward in inventory. On a phone, the toast can vanish under the joystick.

Console and gamepad

How to Really Fish is a Roblox experience, so a console session uses Roblox’s virtual cursor. Highlight the Codes button, open it, then switch to on-screen keyboard. Gamepad auto-correct is worse than mobile: disable it if a code keeps failing with Invalid.

A code will not grant Dual Uzis, the Golden Rod, or a second pet slot. Those are Robux gamepasses described on the weapon tier list and the players hub. Anyone selling a “code” for those passes is scamming.

Timing tips

Redeem before you start a long fishing circuit. If a code grants a 2x cash window, you want it active while you cook and sell, not while you stand in the shop reading prices. If it grants a lure, equip it before the next cast using the same tool swap you use for rods.

Do not redeem in the middle of a Giant Whale fight. The 2500 HP bar on that boss already fills the top of the screen; a reward toast can hide a bite prompt. Finish the fight, then open Codes.

After a successful redeem
