How to Really Fish Tier Lists

Tier lists for How to Really Fish have to stay humble: the Roblox beta updates weekly and Crazy Fishing Friends has not published a complete encyclopedia. These ranks are built from live gamepasses, badges, official screenshots, and how the loop actually pays. They are not copied from Steam How to Fish. Open a child page when you need the full table: weapons, lures, and fish.

How we rank

• S — changes a session. Buy or chase this when you can.
• A — strong for the current island, still worth cash.
• B — fine, replace when you hit a wall.
• C — tutorial or trap.
• D — cosmetics, off-sale slots, or “this is not a gun.”

Criteria: time-to-kill on dock fights, cash per minute after cooking, and whether the item accidentally vendors a trophy. PvP is not a mode here, so there is no arena column.

Weapons: Dual Uzis sit high for chaotic docks if you will spend Robux. Cash shotguns are the real A-tier for most accounts. Snipers jump to S when the Giant Whale’s 2500 HP bar is the project. Fists are D after the first shrimp. Full notes on weapons.

Lures: starter lure is C on purpose. Mid lures are A for sharks. Boss lures are S only when you have ammo. Golden Rod is an S money tool and a D catch tool. Full notes on lures.

Fish: commons pay the bills once cooked. Kraken is A because it is early and required. Giant Whale is S for trophy value and a time sink if you are broke. Myth and legend entries are S to chase and F to vendor. Full notes on fish.

How to use this hub with the rest of the wiki

If you cannot land a bite, you do not have a tier problem. You have a catching problem. If bites land and you still die, read how to fight. If you live and stay poor, read money. Tiers only order the shop after those three pages make sense.

Co-op groups should pick one S gun and one A lure for the party instead of four people buying four different D cosmetics. Solo players should over-invest in a shotgun they can actually aim.

When a weekly patch adds a vending machine or a new island, we reshuffle these lists on the updates pages first, then here. Do not freeze a rank in your head for a month. This is early access.
