How to Really Fish Badge Checklist

How to Really Fish on Roblox does not print a quest log you can trust yet. Badges are the public progress bar. This checklist uses the live badge list from universe 10758034175 as of mid-September 2026, plus award rates that tell you what the studio thinks is early. Use it with the spend planner and the walkthrough. Parent page: tools hub.

Award rates move every day. Treat them as a shape, not a leaderboard. Kraken Slayer sitting near 93% means the boss is on the porch. Master Angler sitting near 0.3% means you can ignore it this week.

Attendance (you will get these by playing)

Gone Fishin. Awarded to essentially everyone who loads in. It is a hello, not a trophy.

First Catch. You hooked something and the game noticed. If this does not fire, you are casting at grass. Read how to catch and controls.

Getting the Hang of It. Mid-70s percent. You repeated the loop enough times that the studio counted you as a real player. No extra errand.

The first-hour set (chase these on purpose)

First $100. About 90% of accounts. Ordinary fish. Faster with cooking.

Camp Cook. About 70%. Interact with a camp or grill while holding a sellable fish. This is the multiplier. Skipping it is how people stall before First $1000. Details in the money guide.

Kraken Slayer. About 93%. Early boss. Prepare a gun, a clear dock, and a bag slot. Do not vendor the distinctive drop until NPCs are done talking. Full fight notes: bosses.

Sleeping with the Fishes. About 73%. You died. The ocean, a clawed dock fish, or a shark will do it. It is not a skill badge. It is a warning that the fight half of the loop is real — how to fight.

If you leave after this set, you have seen the game. The rest is economy and patience.

The filter

First $1000. About 21%. This is the line. Shotgun, mid lure, cooking habit. If you are stuck here, you are selling raw, buying hats, or fighting with fists. Use the spend planner.

Seasoned Angler. About 9%. You stayed. There is no secret room required — time in the loop is the requirement.

First $10,000. About 8%. Long gun territory. Giant Whale territory. Golden Rod helps ordinary sells (2x, bosses excluded) but is not required. Solo players hit this slower; co-op cooks while someone kites.

Rare on purpose

Stuff of Legends. About 2%. Legend-tier catch or equivalent. Do not spend a week’s cash on a rumor lure until fish tiers and lure tiers agree it exists in this client.

Myth Confirmed. About 0.9%. Myth-tier. Not a script toggle. Anyone selling a GUI that awards this is lying. See scripts.

Master Angler. About 0.3%. End of the current badge board. You do not need it to “finish” a beta that still promises islands. Chase it after the whale is a farm, not a panic.

Suggested order on a sticky note

1. First Catch
2. Camp Cook
3. First $100
4. Kraken Slayer (keep the drop)
5. First $1000
6. First $10,000 / whale attempt
7. Stuff of Legends, then Myth Confirmed
8. Master Angler last

Sleeping with the Fishes will insert itself. That is fine. Gone Fishin and Getting the Hang of It will insert themselves. That is also fine.

What badges are not

They are not codes. They are not gamepasses. Dual Uzis will not grant Master Angler. A weekly update might add a new badge when islands ship — check beta instead of assuming the Steam achievement list applies.

They are not a reason to vendor a trophy. A unique name in the bag is worth more than a percentage point on a badge you will earn later by accident.

How to use this with friends

In co-op, call badges out loud. If two people need Camp Cook, cook twice. If one person needs Kraken Slayer and the other already has it, the veteran should gun, not steal the lure. Solo players can tick this list in order without waiting on anyone.

When a new badge appears in the Roblox UI, add it here after we see it on the universe, not after a farm site invents a name. Until then, this is the full published set.

If you only tick four boxes this week, tick Camp Cook, Kraken Slayer, First $100, and First $1000. That is the game. The rest is the ocean they have not finished pouring.
