How to Really Fish Walkthrough

This walkthrough is the linear path through How to Really Fish on Roblox. It is not a 100% encyclopedia, because Crazy Fishing Friends is still in public beta and the official description still says new islands are coming. Treat it as the route that turns a crash landing into Kraken Slayer, Camp Cook, First $1000, and a Giant Whale attempt you can actually finish. Pair it with Getting Started if you have never opened the experience, and with controls if the rod or gun feels dead.

The fantasy on the Roblox page is to survive the ocean and return home. The playable loop today is smaller: catch, fight, cook, sell, buy, repeat, then spend a boss lure when you have ammo. Completing the current build means you can do that loop without dying to a dock fish and without vending a trophy.

Session 0 — load in without drowning

Join from the official place 112778631702542. If you spawn in water, swim to wood. Sleeping with the Fishes is a popular badge because the ocean is the floor. Do not open the Robux catalog. Dual Uzis and Golden Rod wait until you have died once on purpose and once by accident.

Stand on a pier facing blue water. Equip the starter rod. Cast with Left Click. Mobile players park the joystick at the horizon, then tap the action cluster once. If the lure lands in a cabin, recast. Details live on how to catch.

Session 1 — First Catch, First $100, Camp Cook

Land a common fish. It is still alive. Swap to fists or a cheap gun and finish it before it knocks you off the planks. That fight is the entire game in miniature — see how to fight. Sell the corpse. First Catch should fire. First $100 fires after a handful of ordinary fish, faster if you cook.

If a camp or grill exists on your island, hold a sellable fish in the cook interaction until Camp Cook pops. Cooking is the quiet multiplier that separates First $100 from the 21% of players who reach First $1000. Keep anything with a unique name. The keep rule is written on the boss page because people vendor Kraken parts during this session.

Spend the first cash on a lure that matches the local pool and a shotgun you can hip-fire. Rankings sit on the lure list and the weapon list. Cosmetics are not a session 1 purchase.

Session 2 — Kraken, then shut up and farm

Kraken Slayer is awarded to most accounts. The studio put this boss on the early path. Prepare with a gun you have already fired at a shark, a cooked fish if healing exists in your build, and a dock that is not a 50-player mosh pit. Solo is fine — solo covers the same fight without a party. Friends make the bar drop faster — co-op splits hook, gun, and cook.

After the kill, talk to every NPC before you sell anything that looks ceremonial. Then farm. This is the boring chapter the complete-game YouTube videos skip. Ordinary cooked fish pay for the sniper you need later. Golden Rod (399 Robux) doubles ordinary sells and excludes bosses. It does not make Kraken drop twice.

Session 3 — First $1000, sharks, and the 2500 HP whale

First $1000 is the real filter. If you are still on fists, you skipped the shop. Buy ammo and food before you buy a second gun. Sharks leave the water. Treat them as moving cover and moving threats, not as a fishing minigame.

The Giant Whale screenshot on this wiki shows 1962 / 2500 HP and a sniper user mid-air. That is a money fight. Enter with a long gun, a wall (the red dock house is the one in the art), and a friend if you have one. Abort if the server is a circus. Master Angler is a 0.3% badge. You do not owe it this week.

Stuff of Legends and Myth Confirmed are rare on purpose. Chase them after the whale, not instead of cash. The fish tier list explains which bites are a trophy and which are dinner.

Session 4 — islands that are not here yet

The experience page still promises new islands. Until updates says an island loaded in a live server, do not hoard a full backpack of mystery keys you invented. Hoard named trophies. Spend duplicate commons. Recheck shops after the weekly tracker because betas move vending machines.
